This romantic Lake Como inspired wedding truly left no detail untouched. From the elegant stationary suite to the cake forks for the bride and groom, each aspect of the day was truly special.
The steps of the venue were lined with rose and anemone centered floral arrangements and accentuated by gold candlesticks topped with blush pink tapers. This created the most luxurious backdrop for vows, but still allowed the Italian architecture to shine.
The couple coordinated their black-tie ensembles to the environment – the groom in his classic black tuxedo and the bride her stunning lace-back gown. The show stopper though, was the matching floor-length lace veil.
The bride’s cake, perched atop a gilded cake stand, had five layers and featured a gold floral motif. The dessert table was completed by mini dessert cups and pastel macarons.
The floral tablescapes transported guests to an Italian lakeside villa. The centerpieces tied in with the floral concepts, lending a garden-side feel to the experience. The setting was elevated by the china and gold-plated silverware, and accentuated by the same candlesticks adoring the ceremony site.
From the floral concept woven through the entire day, to the lace details carried through the entire day (the lace-like floral sprays to the lace table topper at the reception, for example), days such as this one show that you can still have the detail-oriented day of your dreams, even when the guest list is filled with only your nearest and dearest.
