This wedding was just that. A quiet, heartfelt celebration with only the bride and groom, surrounded by the soft sounds of the lake and the gentle breeze moving through the gardens. There were no large crowds, no timelines to rush through…only the two of them, fully present in this moment they had waited for.
As a Lake Como wedding photographer, I’m always inspired by the way couples lean into the emotion of the day here. There’s something about the stillness of the water, the echo of church bells in the distance, and the layered history of the villa that makes everything feel intentional and beautifully timeless.
We wandered through the terraced gardens, taking in the sweeping views of the lake, and the warm afternoon light wrapped everything in a soft golden glow. These are the kinds of wedding days that remind me why I love what I do, not just documenting moments, but preserving the feeling of them.
