This was such a special day celebrating Christin and Mike. We had a dream team of talented vendors working behind the scenes to ensure no detail was left untouched for their Swan House wedding. Christin wore a custom Heidi Elnora Atelier gown that complemented the scene effortlessly. Cascading florals lined the fountain leading down the staircase to their intimate ceremony, where pews were set for guests.
When searching for a venue for a chic, timeless wedding, there’s truly no place like the historic Swan House. The 1928 mansion is nestled in hills of the beautiful Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. It’s made an appearance in a few films and become most well known for it’s debut in the movie The Hunger Games. It also served as the finish line for the 19th season of The Amazing Race. It features a stunning, cascading fountain on the staircase leading up to the grand estate. Hidden away just passed the top of the stairs are lush gardens that are especially spectacular in May–the perfect backdrop for an elevated garden party.
As a destination wedding photographer, I’ve seen some beautiful venues, but this one will forever be a favorite of mine. I hope you enjoy browsing more from this classic garden wedding. I’m looking forward to working here again soon.
