This luxurious mountain wedding editorial with Marchesa was beyond words. Set along the banks of the Weber River with mountain views, the couple was surrounded by lush florals for their ceremony at 4U Ranch. The tablescape included lush fall florals created by Sweet Root Village, all beautifully designed by East Made Co. See more of […]
Photographing this colorful spring wedding in 30A Florida was a highlight of the season for me. The couple chose vibrant, lush florals, which were beautifully done by Brian and the Myrtie Blue team. Everything was exquisitely planned and executed by Avis and her team at Peach and Pearl Events. A clear top tent allowed light to filter through onto the florals and illuminate the ceremony and reception space in the most delicate way.
Three postponements. Two venues across two countries. One epic wedding weekend that finally came together.
After multiple reschedules and the tumultuous year of uncertainty, Maria and Levi finally got their dream wedding, though it looked much different than what they imagined when they originally got engaged more than two years prior. And this epic destination wedding weekend came together in only four months’ time.
Due to covid, Maria + Levi had been forced to postpone their date three times, and after the third date fell through with their original venue, the couple decided to change everything and move their wedding to the first place they ever vacationed together, Harbour Island Bahamas. Bahamas Wedding Photographer Jessie Barksdale Photography.
Sharing some photos from my new favorite destination, Harbour Island. This beautiful hideaway is a small island nestled in the Bahamas, best known for its pink sand beaches and turquoise waters. While vacationing there this spring I explored all the beauty Harbour Island has to offer, and of course photographed it to share with you. The islanders are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered on vacation, the beaches are even more beautiful than the pictures, and it’s the perfect getaway if you’re a couple planning a destination wedding.

This was such a special day celebrating Christin and Mike. We had a dream team of talented vendors working behind the scenes to ensure no detail was left untouched for their Swan House wedding. Christin wore a custom Heidi Elnora Atelier gown that complemented the scene effortlessly. Cascading florals lined the fountain leading down the staircase to their intimate ceremony, where pews were set for guests.
When searching for a venue for a chic, timeless wedding, there’s truly no place like the historic Swan House. The 1928 mansion is nestled in hills of the beautiful Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. It’s made an appearance in a few films and become most well known for it’s debut in the movie The Hunger Games. It also served as the finish line for the 19th season of The Amazing Race. It features a stunning, cascading fountain on the staircase leading up to the grand estate. Hidden away just passed the top of the stairs are lush gardens that are especially spectacular in May–the perfect backdrop for an elevated garden party.
As a destination wedding photographer, I’ve seen some beautiful venues, but this one will forever be a favorite of mine. I hope you enjoy browsing more from this classic garden wedding. I’m looking forward to working here again soon.
