An afternoon including lush, fragrant rose blooms, sipping champagne on a hillside overlooking the city during a golden sunset, and spending time soaking it all in with the one you love…what could be better?
I had the pleasure of spending a perfect spring day strolling the Birmingham Botanical Gardens with Gina and her fiancé, Spencer, for their engagement photos. As a wedding photographer, I never tire of meeting new couples and hearing their love stories and all the little details. Every couples’ journey is so unique, and it was truly inspiring and refreshing to document their love for one another through pictures.
Though this was my first time meeting Gina and Spencer in person, they seemed completely at ease and were so just natural together, even in front of the camera. As we walked the grounds of the gardens, they shared more about how they met in medical school while studying at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), got engaged a year later, and are now completing their residencies in different states—all while planning a wedding. Talk about a power couple!
These two share a truly special love for each other, and they are just so cute together! They both have big hearts, and I can’t wait to see where life takes them as they start this new chapter. I’m looking forward to their wedding celebration at The Cathedral of Saint Paul and B&A Warehouse in downtown Birmingham later this month. Congratulations again, you two!
