I had the best time during this engagement session! Elaine and Derrick showed me around the beautiful historic district of Huntsville, and we even popped champagne at their wedding venue, the gorgeous Weeden House Garden and Museum. We finished up their session stopping by the restaurant where they shared one of their first dates, Keegan’s in downtown Huntsville. We made sure to get a photo in front of the “Welcome to Huntsville” mural while we were there.
These two definitely have that engagement glow and are just so sweet with one another, which is completely evident in their photos. I loved learning more about them as a couple during our afternoon together! They met at Church of the Highlands, and after dating for about a year Derrick planned a surprise weekend trip to NYC for the proposal! Talk about romantic! The two will tie the knot this summer and we are completely honored to be documenting this chapter of their love story. Congrats again, Elaine and Derrick!
