Have you ever met a couple and immediately you can tell they just click, perfectly? That’s these two.
Santessa and Drew are recently engaged, and they will wed this coming October at the lovely Rocky Mount Weddings and Events in Prattville, Alabama. The pair chose to have their engagement photos made at Jackson Lake, which is known for The Town of Spectre, where Director Tim Burton’s movie The Big Fish was filmed. Many of the homes from the movie set as well as the church are still standing, and are guarded by the most precious baby goats that will follow you around during your visit and insist that you pet them. π The island holds a special place in their hearts because they spent summer days fishing on its banks when they first began dating. Can we just talk about how gorgeous this setting is for shooting a couple in love?! The warm sunshine, the mossy trees, the water….ahhhhh, so dreamy, and even more dreamy on film. And it’s right in our backyard!
I was thrilled to document this exciting time for Santessa and Drew, and am looking forward to photographing their beautiful wedding this fall! I hope you enjoy a little peek into this gorgeous afternoon with them.
